A Behavioral Health RN provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.


Qualifications

Required Skills:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) (within 30 days of hire) American Heart Association
Licenses: Valid Texas RN
Handle with Care required (within 30 days of hire)
Minimum Work
Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in behavioral health unit preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
